I love innovation and new ideas, but this has me just a little puzzled maybe you can help…
What is the benefit to the consumer?, Why have they done this? If it’s merely to get a lot of free publicity O.K. I understand and even applaud it, a little. But, if they think this gimmick redesign of an iconic product will lift sales over a long period of time, all I can say is: show me the proof, because I love to be PROVEN wrong.
Sure I might be tempted just once to buy one for the heck of it. But I can’t see this replacing the traditional Friday Night or Card Night home delivery in a box.
Or am I completely missing some new mega marketing trend here… What do you think?
