How Bloggers Can Earn Money From Restaurant Owners

Published by Lindsay under EDITORIAL COMMENTS

Many of my readers are now earning money with this simple FREE idea.

If you go to the PhotoNews section of this site you will see a sample you can use as your sales tool.

Contact the local restaurants in your area and offer to establish this powerful, blog based tool for them.

They don’t have the time to do it themselves, so you can build in a residual source of income for yourself by offering to take the write articles , take photos and maintain their site for them.

Why is this idea so attractive to a restaurant owner?

Simply because: their patrons will visit their site to see a picture for themselves, in far greater numbers, than will respond to the boring “brag and boast” newsletters most restaurants currently invade their privacy with.

PERMISSION BASED

The power of this concept lies in the fact that people have given their permission to be sent a “your picture is here” email when they allow their picture to be taken.

The way I have put these “plugins” together on the sample PhotoNews page, also has a send to a friend funtion, this ensures the restaurants site, gets additional viral/word of mouth, traffic from their patrons.

For further details of this concept, simply drop me an email at: lindsay(at)stuff4restaurants.com

And best of all, IT’S ABSOLUTELY FREE so have a look and give it a try RIGHT NOW!

Six Simple Steps Guaranteed to Improve Any Business

Published by Lindsay under EDITORIAL COMMENTS

I would love a dollar for every time I have heard the excuse “I tried that once before, and it didn’t work…”

The owners of businesses that use this excuse are really saying… I’m the boss around here and I’m the only one allowed to have good ideas and, right now, I don’t have any. It is an excuse made so they don’t have to risk what they consider failure.
Whenever I hear this, I immediately ask these four questions: Continue Reading »

20% of your staff produce 80% of your profit, 20% of the items on your menu produce 80% of your sales.

Millions of restaurants are trying to sell exactly the same things you do…

With so many other restaurants offering “great food” and “great service”, (regardless of whether it’s true or not) how are you going to DIFFERENTIATE your Continue Reading »

SEXIST ADVERTISING, Does it work ?

sexist_advertising.jpg

This debate will rage on for ever…

One school will tell you: sexist Advertising risks losing half your audience, The alternative position is: it will increase your sales by more than the loss of a few wingers opinions. It is a decision not to be taken lightly, and the simple fact is, it’s usually done as a stunt and there are thousands of ideas for stunts that don’t risk offending half your customer base.

My personal thoughts are…

I think it’s very clever, I don’t have a problem with the humor (but than I’m male) My problem with it is this…

click on the pic to enlarge O.K. have you done that, and come back?
What was the product being advertised?

And that’s the problem, so often the vehicle which is used to deliver the message, the concept or idea that grabs your attention, is so effectively powerful, it overwhelms the message. You leave thinking WOW what a great idea… and the product is forgotten.

Earlier today I asked for good ideas from readers, and Rick has just sent me this link to his FREE online menu service THE GRUB CLUB

It’s a great idea to put your menu in a place where diners go looking for a restaurant, as opposed to hiding it on your own one in 3 squillion restaurant sites, and after all it’s FREE so the price is right, right?

BUT THAT’S NOT ALL…
