A Hotel in a Cave - this really rocks…

Sorry about the headline but I just can not resist being “lame” sometimes. (just ask my teenage son)
As someone who has spent more of his fair share of time in bland Hotel rooms all around the world, this idea really appeals to me.
Cappadocia ELKEP EVI CAVE HOTEL is a complex of three 7-room bed and breakfast pensions and a 2-bedroom suite clustered together and managed jointly to maintain the intimacy of a small hotel in Cappadocia.
The hotel offers cave rooms with modern facilities located near the top of Esbelli, the hill above the town of Urgup in Cappadocia in Turkey.
Here’s a link so you can join me there. Please tell them you read it here, so they give me a discount ![]()

Hi Lindsay,
Their is a similar hotel in Tunisia in a town called Matmarta (I think?) I have stayed there.
People will know of it as the underground bar used in the Start Wars movies. Unfortunatly though the locals are not so happy about its fame and therefore we were advised that it would not be safe to leave the hotel after dark and they were only acceptant of tourists during daylight hours. May peace be with you.
