WARNING: This promotion is highly offensive… It’s the riskiest thing I’ve ever posted…
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed so you don't miss any of the NEW IDEAS posted twice per day. Thanks for visiting!

Do not ever do this… Yes it’s publicity, very BAD publicity. And please don’t give me that tired old line about “any publicity is good publicity” stuff, that is an excuse and utter nonsense.
If you are anything like me, you won’t even be able to look this picture for anymore than a split second, and you certainly won’t want to buy any product that is associated with it.
.
Regular visitors will attest to the fact that I am no prude, I love cleverly implemented publicity stunts, Indeed this site, is all about stunts and clever ideas, but this goes over the edge of acceptability.
.
In a society that is now hooked on a seemingly endless supply of instant titillation and the split second global distribution of new publicity stunts, this one should have been left as a cheap side comment made in jest, in the passionate, creative brain storming session where it was probably originally conceived, not carried out.
.
The irony of it all is, we do have this nasty voyeuristic streak in us, and yes we /I, will probably email this rubbish to a few of my more open minded friends, as a cheap laugh, along with an inappropriate cheeky note… BUT THIS IS NOT GOOD Advertising.
There is a huge difference between grabbing attention and delivering a message that will produce desirable outcomes, sales.
.
So why did I post it? I must admit I hesitated long and hard, then finally decided it was a very dramatic way to make an important point, or maybe I’m just as bad as the originators, maybe I too, am hopelessly hooked on salacious controversy.
What do you think?
.
I agree, it’s hideous! What were they thinking? There are no positive connotations that can be associated with the brand. The scary thing is, this must have gone through a few people for approval.
