The owner of the El Azteca Mexican restaurant is so fed up cleaning up wild college parties in his restaurant; he is now insisting that parties of six or more must sign a special contract he has prepared. His restrictive contract states, if customers throw up or damage property they now have to pay $50.00.

The El Azteca is not the only restaurant that is introducing contracts in response to raucous patrons.

Ajia, the self-described “Japanese-fusion” restaurant, also requires groups of six or more, give both a credit-card number and a driver’s license number before they sit down.

THE BIG QUESTION IS…

Why do they sell them so much drink they finish-up this way?

Surely, they have some responsibility for this issue. I know from personal experience this is not an easy problem to police and handle, but I’m not sure that treating every group booking in your restaurant as trouble makers, sets the scene for a trouble free relationship.
