A NEW Concept Well Worth Keeping Your Eye on…

This new concept could really test the limits of the age old rivalry between China and Japan.
The western world has witnessed many new eating trends over the last decade, not the least of which has been the sushi bar and it’s conveyor belts of raw fish. Today they are commonplace and have earned a well established place in our dinning habits.
But how about this…
Chinese Dim Sum, hot, on a conveyor belt, it is being trialled in Singapore and the owners say that people are flocking to it because they don’t have to wait on the traditional trolley lady finally getting around to them. It is going to be very interesting to see whether this catches on or joins the pet rocks , cabbage patch dolls and hula hoops in the fad archives. (should they be so lucky).
I think that’s a cracking idea, I always look at Yo Sushi at Paddington station and think what a great idea it is - and I normally need a quick meal - except I don’t really like fish. But if it was offering Dim Sum it’d be a different story.
So where is the restaurant?
Very very interesting!
Cheers.
Karen, I would love to know, I was sent the story by a reader and was hoping someone would let me know.
