Earlier today I asked for good ideas from readers, and Rick has just sent me this link to his FREE online menu service THE GRUB CLUB
It’s a great idea to put your menu in a place where diners go looking for a restaurant, as opposed to hiding it on your own one in 3 squillion restaurant sites, and after all it’s FREE so the price is right, right?
BUT THAT’S NOT ALL…
Look, my friends will tell you I am well known for displaying more than my fair share of healthy skepticism (some are even unkind enough to label it as cynicism) but when I followed up Rick’s idea and discovered the motivation behind his business venture I melted, you will find what a local media site says about his venture HERE … WARNING: if you are a little sensitive, you may need a box of tissues.
The bottom line is this: Rick and his wife don’t want our sympathy, it would be patronizing in the extreme to offer it, however, their efforts earns and deserves your support.
If this blogging stuff means anything, it means we can, and indeed should, support their venture.
So, even if you don’t own a restaurant at least email this to 3 or 4 (or more) people you know, RIGHT NOW.
