This top restaurant on the famous Champs-Élysées in Paris has discovered
a great way to both promote their Restaurant and generate a whole heap of additional revenue from their passing trade.
Walking traffic is first attracted by the bustle of activity, bright lights and the smells of freshly cooking food. Those in a hurry simply grab food on the run, (each was handed a coupon with an incentive to return) whilst others are encouraged into the restaurant for more substantial meals by well timed offers and incentives. This place was packed both inside and out, whilst nearby restaurants and cafes were forced to watch on with envy.
The post doesn’t say why the others didn’t follow suit. Why did the other restaurant owners not imitate?
Usually when there are are a line of restaurants one or two certainly get more business others don’t do very badly. Also sales gimmicks are similar.
