Where was this life saver when I needed it?
You could write a very entertaining book on the first night fiasco of new waiters, and I would get a whole chapter to myself.
Let’s face it, First nights are not easy, I remember all too well, trying to control the clunkiness caused by the onset of puberty, the urgent demands of a few well oiled guests, strategically placed furniture intent on tripping me up, all, whilst balancing several slippery glasses, bottles and associated pieces of table ware on an unfamiliar tray.
And of course, my then bosses best customer, also remembers it, after all, it’s not everyday you see have your photo in the newspaper, even if you are the mayor, well not with your mistress, all covered in a cream based cocktail.
So you can imagine that I was “kinda” attracted to this new tray design.
