So, you have put up all the SALE signs all over the store, to grab the attention of every passer by… What next?… What else can you do to build sales for your next sale?
You need to do some “Cross the Line” promoting. Some cross the WHAT???
Cross the Line promotion is:
When you step outside your trading zone. Sure, you pay rent for the physical place you do business, and if you chose your location and signs well, you will be able to drag your fair share of passing public into your store.
But your promotion does not have to be limited to the tiny bit of turf you pay rent on. You can extend your reach into other regions of the city. It can have the effect of making your store hundreds of times bigger, you can influence people who would never have passed by, or come to your store, and you don’t have to spend mega bucks on media Advertising to do this.
The following photos show how a mens wear store very cleverly grabbed the attention of potential shoppers using a guerrilla Advertising stunt.
