The car sales precincts of every modern city are enormously competitive Advertising environments and offer you a University like education in proven promotional techniques .

Each dealership must work hard to attract potential buyers into their yard using every imaginable attention grabbing device.

They are great places to go if you want to learn some quick, and often inexpensive, ways to promote your business.

All those flags, balloons, signs screaming urgency, unbeatable offers, and special deals are object lessons you can use.

Go through your newspaper and look at the wording graphics and offers of their adds leading up to a weekend.

These savy marketers have to had to learn how to  market their businesses real fast, or risk going out of business within weeks.

So, the lessons to be learned in these highly competitive environments work, because they have to.

However, this fierce competition also brings with it some fairly excessive “shout” Advertising that has more to do with entertainment and “Attention grabbing with no purpose”, than sales building. So sit and watch who is getting the most business and work out why.
