This is so very good on so many levels…
Special congratulations should go to the bakery for avoiding the cliche and NOT “using their loaf”
It is one of my favorite business cards of all time.

Just imagine the reaction…
When your customer opens their mail to find a a bright colorful ball with an appropriate (or if you are a little daring, a lightheartedly inappropriate) pun printed on it thanking them for their custom and inviting them back soon.
At least it’s going to be remembered long after an expensive color brochure packed full of brag and boast highly polished promo speak.
Leslie Allison-Seei, Partner of Robust Promotions fame sent me this idea that she has been working on with a new business appropriately named Send A Ball where you can find all the details on this clever alternative to boring brochures and flowers.

This looks like a great idea for those of us who grab a quick meal at the office or for a take away gift that would generate some additional word of mouth Advertising.

If you are looking for a great low cost idea to promote your restaurant or cafe… HERE IT IS
In fact, apparently it was so successful, customers wanted to purchase them to take home and to work.
lets admit it, It’s not often that customers offer to pay your Advertising expenses, so this may be an idea well worth giving some serious thought.

There is no better, faster, lower cost way to build a business than establishing a proactive method of getting your existing customers to refer your business to their friends and families.
Nathan from restaurantrevolution.com sent me news of this great new product and I believe it is one of the best systems I have come across in a long time.
Without me blathering on about it, check it out for yourself at www.ripcard.com

These highly creative thinkers have given the humble tent card a whole new meaning with this clever gimmick.
And above all, it’s for a good cause. Can you imagine anybody at the table ignoring this gem of Advertising. Just think, they have turned a totally unused, useless piece of space into something that has real emotional grunt. I would think the biggest problem would be replacing them after each table setting due to their obvious souvenir value.
I’m sure you can think of some of your own messages that you can “hide” (there is nothing more public than a semi concealed secret)

How often do you take the message inside your fortune cookie seriously? If you’re anything like me, you read them for a quick giggle and then leave them crumpled on the table.
Occasionally I’ll keep one if it seems particularly applicable to something I’m going to through, but that’s fairly rare.
But what if you got a fortune that predicted bad times ahead? Or one that suggested that “Perhaps you’ve been focusing too much on yourself.” Or even possibly “Your luck is just not there. Attend to practical matters today.” These are just a few of the fortunes that consumers have been discovering lately in the cookies produced and distributed by Wonton Food, the country’s largest fortune cookie manufacturer.
Apparently, they decided to spice things up and so hired some new freelance writers to create new fortunes.
This is an idea just waiting to be developed further into a full blown promotional device.

What a fun surprise when you open your pizza box…
This is a great promotion idea, and could easily be done many different ways and be used to include “bounce back” offers and other incentives.
Once again, I don’t know the company or agency involved…
If you do, please let me know, and I will instantly add it here, they deserve full credit for such a great idea.
