This Advertising stunt is very clever and unique…
And could be easily adapted to suit many different product offers.

To graphically shoe the effects of beach pollution…
Satchi and Satchi collected trash from various beaches, packaged it to look like seafood and displayed it at local farmers’ markets. These pics are from a print run of posters for those who didn’t attend the market.

If you want to learn exactly how to use humor in your Advertising…
You could do far worse than look at what these street people are doing, after all, they are getting direct and instant feed back on exactly what generates results and what does not.
Thank you Brian for the pics.

These great advertisements show how you can make a pretty ordinary product, grab a whole lot of attention and generate some additional “edgy” word of mouth comment.

Here is a great example of how you can burn your message into a potential customers memory in a very powerful way.
These clever advertisers have put the right message in the right place at the right time, and their potential customers will remember the unique benefits of their particular product because the message is cleverly located, dramatic and humorous.

The key to Advertising any products unique qualities is to use photography to clearly show what it can do for its target customers.
So, if you wanted to tell Chefs that you manufacture knives that are made of high quality materials and are extremely sharp…
Well, you judge for yourself, how well this set of advertisements achieves this…

The million dollar question now is…
How can you show how good your product or service is (from your customers perspective) in a photo?

O.K. Calm down, I’m not that blatantly crass… Well, not always.
Here’s some more great carry bags that will grab more than their fare share of Advertising grunt.
I really do like this stuff, with just a little imagination and no extra cost, each bag quickly becomes a walking billboard for your message.

Oh the joy of it, this really does appeal to my wicked sense of humor…
Using everybody else’s posters, simply add your message in a cheeky but non destructive way.
O.K. sure, you can expect some rather irate calls from the owners and they may even resort to a little payback attention and a smattering of litigious warning letters, but you will have grabbed a whole lot of “street cred” and memorable attention.
Not to mention the fun you will have doing it under the cloak of darkness.

Now this is what I want you to do…
Just before your really busy time, you know the one, the one where everybody nearly loses it, well what I want you to do is: just when the adrenalin is starting to be pumped into your chef’s brain, show them these pics and tell him/her that you have just decided they would make a great Advertising talking point for your restaurant, and you want something just like them within the next few hours… then, I would suggest you run real hard… and duck to avoid the airborne stainless steel stuff that is sure to be heading your way. :}

With Valentines day still so fresh in everyones mind, except mine!!!…
I thought this candy heart made by brick artist Nathan Saywa of brickartist.com was very topical and would make a brilliant Advertising/conversation piece. It’s a little bizarre, but then “ORDINARY” doesn’t get remembered.
If you like Lego Sculpture (as a father, to be honest, I’m a bit over those colorful, expensive little bricks that seem intent on doing nasty stuff to your bare feet when stood on, and seem to find their wicked way into every crevice of cars and homes these days)
click over to Nathan Sawa’s site , he really does do some amazing stuff.
