Lindsey,
I just found your site and think you've got some good stuff here. I love the "Rock paper Scissors" promo!

One of the things that I have seen completely ignored is the work culture. I work mainly with restaurants and a number of other industries regarding this topic regularly. We address the way employees and leaders treat each other, give them a chance to build the work environment (relationships) that will get them out of bed in the morning, and extend that through the hourly employees to the customer.

It amazes me how we can show amazing results (lift in sales, retention, ticket size, CSI) at really incredible ROI, and still, people don't seem to "get it".

I would love to hear from people, outside of trying to do business, just what is it that they don't see in this, or maybe don't believe (maybe that's it).

Intersted in your thoughts.

I have just had a very quick look at your link, thank you for the content, I think it's a great idea and worthy of every restaurant owners support. Thanks heaps, I will now read in detail and both add it to my blog roll and do a posting which does the concept more justice.
Good luck, please keep me and the readers posted on your progress

Hi Lindsay,

I have what I believe is a great idea. I am not sure what restaurant owners think about it but I know restaurant patrons WANT it. I have a system for posting menus online for free. It is called theGrubClub.com.

There is a magazine article about it here:
http://www.threeriverslifestyle.com/summer%202007/summer2007thegrubclub.htm

Since you asked for ideas I hope you take time to at least take a quick look at the article. It really is very well done. I wish you could see the print version. It's even better.

I enjoyed your ebook on Signs. I am going to comment on it in my blog next week when I return from a few days out of town:
http://thegrubclub.blogspot.com/

Thanks,
Rick
